How I Could Have Won $26 Million in the Lottery!
Here is an interesting story about how I could have won $26 million in the lottery, had I used the numbers that I was currently thinking about in the preceding few days.
But first, a little background.
Back in 2021, God inspired a ttrip to Israel that I was supposed to be on from June 3 to August 12, 2026 respectively - a total of 70 days.
Having been homeless for the last three years since July 12, 2023, and no income, there was no way I could go on this trip, and it just remained a hypothetical exercise that in some ways foreshadowed the war in Iran, along with two other trips that God inspired. More on that when my book is published!
On June 28, 2026, exactly 10 years to the day since I last left Israel on my previous trip, I felt I should choose some new dates to visit it. I was led to July 21 - August 4, 2026, just over three weeks away. Given I had no money and no income, there was no way I could go on this trip, unless God did something spectacular to change my circumstances in record time!
As the three-year anniversary of me becoming homeless on July 12, 2026 approached, I started thinking about ways that God could potentially fund this trip. One of those was winning the lottery! I had also been thinking about dates that God could use to tell a story using the existing trip that I was due to be on, from June 3 to August 12.
And so, I developed a scenario in my head that God could use to both fund this trip and get me out of homelessness at the same time!
And these are the numbers that I came up with:
#10: On July 10, two days before the three-year anniversary of becoming homeless approached, I thought God may get me to buy a Lotto ticket on what was the 55th wedding anniversary of my parents. It also marked 37 days since the current trip was supposed to begin. (More on that below). The next Lotto draw was due to fall the following day on July 11, which is the one I was thinking of, because the next day marked the three-year anniversary of becoming homeless. Thus, the number 10 seemed significant.
#21: The day my new trip to Israel was due to begin was July 21, which is why this number was also significant.
#22: I was due to arrive in Israel the following day on July 22, which is why this number was also significant.
#26: The day the Lotto draw was due to take place on July 11, fell on the 26th of Tammuz in the Hebrew calendar. The number 26 is significant, because it is the Hebrew Gematria of the name for God: YHWH, which is why I felt this number was important also.
#37: July 10 marked exactly 37 days since my existing trip to Israel was due to begin on June 3. 37 days is equivalent to exactly 888 hours, which is a number associated with Jesus Christ, and so I had been wondering whether something significant would happen on this day in relation to my existing trip. It didn't appear to.
#40: July 13 would mark exactly 40 days since my existing trip was due to begin on June 3, and so I was also wondering whether something would happen on this day. It didn't appear to. The number 40 is highly significant in the Bible, which is why I had been thinking of this number.
And so, all these numbers had been running through my head in the couple of days leading up to the Lotto draw on July 11, one day before the three-year anniversary of me becoming homeless.
Had I thought to combine these numbers into a lottery ticket, July 11 would have been a very different day for me!
On that day, Lotto draw #2602, all the numbers that I had been thinking of in the previous few days came up! (10, 21, 22, 26, 37, 40). Had I put all those numbers on one line, I would have won NZ$1 million! No one won first division on that day. Had I somehow managed to add the Powerball number to that line (#6 - 1 of 10), I would have won an additional $25 million, bringing the total to $26 million! No one won the top Powerball prize on that day, either. Thus, the entire amount was there for the taking. As it happened, the top prize rolled over to $30 million for the July 18 draw.
And so, my journey continues!
I guess it pays to pay attention to the numbers given to you, as they may be more important than you realise!
